Volunteering

Green Iglu started off with a majority of its members being volunteers. We appreciate everyone who has been involved over the years contributing their time, we simply couldn’t have done it without this hard work. As a rapidly growing organization, we understand the immense value that volunteers bring to this day.

We are always welcoming volunteers, and we aim to create opportunities that are both meaningful and valuable for each individual stepping foot into this organization. This allows volunteers to utilize and hone their skills to maximize their impact with Green Iglu.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional and unceded territories of Indigenous Peoples across what is now known as Canada. We recognize and honour the diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples who have stewarded these lands, waters, and communities since time immemorial.

As our programs reach northern and remote regions across the country, we remain committed to learning from and working in partnership with Indigenous communities to support food sovereignty, knowledge sharing, and sustainable growth rooted in respect and reciprocity.
